Happy Friday, RotoBallers! I hope you all had an excellent week to this point, and a great weekend is forthcoming! Let's get ahead of the weekend by making some nice coin on tonight's NBA slate. Tonight should be a fun one, with a lot of interesting matchups on the board. Let's get after it!
Tonight, we have ourselves a massive 14-game slate on this lovely Friday. With both FanDuel and DraftKings having multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates accordingly to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can also change during the day, so I'll do my best to update you as news comes out!
Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 12/23/22. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s NBA injury news and also our full NBA injury report today to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Jalen Brunson, vs CHI (FD: $7,500, DK: $7,100)
I'll start tonight's slate off with Jalen Brunson. Brunson has come through for us in previous articles, so why not take a shot at him again, right? Brunson is having a solid year in New York but is coming off a relatively quiet game, where he scored seven points and added in three rebounds and 12 steals while shooting just 3-14 from the field. I'll project him to bounce back tonight against a Bulls team that ranks 21st in point guard efficiency, and I have Brunson projected for a 27.56% usage rate over 36 minutes.
Spencer Dinwiddie, at HOU (FD: $6,500, DK: $6,600)
I'll look at Brunson's former teammate, Spencer Dinwiddie, as my second guard tonight. Dinwiddie has effectively taken over Jalen Brunson's role in Dallas this season, where he's averaging 16.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. He's projected to have a 19.71% usage rate across 36 minutes tonight against a Rockets team that ranks 20th in shooting guard efficiency. Despite the low projected pace (98.36), I don't mind playing Dinwiddie tonight.
Bruce Brown, vs POR (FD: $5,900, DK: $5,800)
I'll finish things up in the guard category with Bruce Brown. Similar to Dinwiddie, Brown comes into tonight's slate as a part of a game with a low projected pace (98.66). Brown's been on a heater of late though, averaging 14 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.25 assists over his last four games. He's projected to just a 14.78% usage rate in tonight's showdown with the Blazers but should see solid minutes assuming that Michael Porter is easing his way into things.
Also consider: James Harden (FD: $9,400, DK: $9,900), Jamal Murray (FD: $7,000, DK: $7,000)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Bogdan Bogdanovic, vs DET (FD: $6,000, DK: $6,400)
Normally I'm writing up Bojan Bogdanovic in his spot, but I'll take a look at Bogdan Bogdanovic this week. Bogdanovic is averaging 17.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists across his first nine games of the 2022 campaign. He's projected to play 32 minutes tonight with a projected 22.32% usage rate, and my only cause for concern here is the fact that Dejounte Murray is back in the lineup for Atlanta. Nevertheless, in a game with one of the higher-projected paces on the slate (103.36), I'll look to Bogy for some nice mid-priced value.
Isaiah Stewart, at ATL (FD: $5,400, DK: $5,200)
On the other side of this game, I'll take a look at Isaiah Stewart. Stewart is averaging 11.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists across the season, although he's been a bit cold lately with the "coming out party" of Jalen Duren. With that said, though, my model projects a bounce-back night for Stewart tonight, with a 15.05% projected usage rate across 29 minutes against a Hawks team that sits 16th in efficiency against power forwards.
Caleb Martin, vs IND (FD: $4,700, DK: $5,500)
I'll close things out at the forward spot with Caleb Martin. Miami has been one of the more confusing teams in the NBA this season, spiking curiosity each and every slate they're on regarding who's going to play and who isn't. Regardless, Martin has been a relative mainstay at the small forward position, averaging 11.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists on the season. He's projected to have a 13.23% usage rate across 30 minutes tonight against the Pacers, and I would certainly opt to play Martin on FanDuel, given the $800 price difference.
Also consider: Anthony Edwards (FD: $9,000, DK: $9,200), Kenrich Williams (FD: $4,200, DK: $4,200)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Nikola Jokic, vs POR (FD: $12,200, DK: $12,000)
Last but not least I'll take a look at my favorite pay-up spot tonight, the Joker, Nikola Jokic. Jokic is vying for his third consecutive MVP season and is just one game removed from his monster 40-point, 27-rebound, 10-assist triple-double against Charlotte on Sunday. He's projected a massive 30.72% usage rate across 36 minutes tonight against Portland, a team that ranks 22nd in center efficiency. Jokic nearly averages a triple-double against the Blazers this season, with 21 points, 9.5 rebounds, and nine assists across his first two games, one of which was a 9-9-9 game back in October where he played just 27 minutes.
Also consider: Jalen Duren (FD: $5,800, DK: $5,000)
