Happy Friday, RotoBallers! I hope you all had an excellent week to this point, and a great weekend is forthcoming! Let's get ahead of the weekend by making some nice coin on tonight's NBA slate. I missed you all last week but had to take care of some personal business. I'm now back and feeling excellent, and ready to break this slate down!
Tonight, we have ourselves a 10-game slate on this lovely Friday. With both FanDuel and DraftKings having multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates accordingly to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can also change during the day, so I'll do my best to update you as news comes out!
Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 12/09/22. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s NBA injury news and also our full NBA injury report today to stay up to date before lineups are locked.
DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Luka Doncic, vs MIL (FD: $11,800, DK: $13,000)
I'll start the slate off with Luka Doncic. Despite his ridiculous price, particularly on DraftKings, Doncic continues to be a solid play on any given slate. Doncic is averaging 32.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8.7 assists on the year, and is seemingly single-handedly carrying the Mavericks at this point in the season. His 36.39% projected usage over 37 minutes is almost unparalleled on this slate, and I'll back him here as he matches up with Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight.
Jordan Clarkson, vs MIN (FD: $6,600, DK: $7,300)
A personal favorite player of mine on whatever slate he plays on is Jordan Clarkson. Clarkson is averaging 19.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists this season for the Jazz. The Jazz have struggled to keep up with their early-season hot start, but Clarkson seemingly hasn't missed a beat. He'll certainly get a usage boost tonight with Collin Sexton out of the lineup tonight, and my model projects Clarkson for a 27.02% usage rate across 35 minutes in a positive matchup against the Timberwolves.
Monte Morris, at IND (FD: $5,500, DK: $5,300)
I'll finish the guards up with Monte Morris. Morris is certainly due for a usage boost tonight, as Bradley Beal, Delon Wright, and Rui Hachimura all appear to be sidelined for the Wizards. Morris isn't a particularly impressive fantasy player but should do more than enough given his cheap price on both sites. He projects to play 35 minutes with a 17.62% usage rate. I'm a fan of a bunch of Wizards players tonight, but more on that later.
Also consider: Tyrese Haliburton (FD: $9,500, DK: $9,200), Markelle Fultz (FD: $4,600, DK: $4,800)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Pascal Siakam, at ORL (FD: $10,000, DK: $10,000)
In terms of forwards, I'll start off with Pascal Siakam. Siakam has played awesome this season, despite missing nearly four weeks due to injury. He's averaging 24.5 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 7.1 assists on the season. Siakam gets a strong matchup against the Magic tonight, who rank 22nd in center efficiency. My model projects Siakam for 35 minutes and a 30.11% usage rate, perhaps the best value on the slate.
Bojan Bogdanovic, at MEM (FD: $5,700, DK: $6,100)
Bogdanovic was one of my favorite season-long targets in redraft this season, and it's certainly paid off. Bogdanovic is averaging 20.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game at this stage in the season. He's coming off a 20-minute, five-point performance against the Pelicans, which makes this a perfect bounce-back spot for Bogy. My model projects him to a 23.14% usage rate across 32 minutes tonight against a Grizzlies team that ranks 18th in small-forward efficiency.
Moritz Wagner, vs TOR (FD: $5,600, DK: $5,700)
To wrap up forwards, I have to mention "Big Mo" Moritz Wagner. Have to shout out Thunder Dan for this one, as Wagner is averaging 11.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in his eight games since returning from injury. With the likes of Wendell Carter Jr. and Chuma Okeke out for the Magic tonight, Wagner should continue to play well as my model projects to an 18.07% usage rate across 32 minutes.
Also consider: Kelly Olynyk. (FD: $6,300, DK: $5,900), Corey Kispert (FD: $3,900, DK: $4,500)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Kristaps Porzingis, at IND (FD: $9,200, DK: $9,400)
Last but not least, I'll mention the second Wizard (or third, if you count Corey Kispert I mentioned above) and probably my favorite play on the entire slate. Porzingis draws a strong matchup against the Pacers tonight, who rank 18th in center efficiency. He should play around 35 minutes and projects to a 28.12% usage rate without the aforementioned Beal, Wright, and Hachimura not suiting up for Washington. My model projects Porizingis north of 5.5x value on both sites with ceilings north of a whopping 80 (!!!) fantasy points.
Also consider: Mitchell Robinson (FD: $5,800, DK: $5,000)
