It's a Sunday in the NBA and we have a solid six-game slate to break down. I hope you all had a fantastic start to 2024, and let's head forward with a massive win and get our bankrolls prepared for the long haul.
There are no teams on this slate on a back-to-back tonight. Let's see how that affects some of our lineups and how we want to attack this slate.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 1/7/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 6:00 PM EST on FanDuel and DraftKings.

Today's DraftKings, FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Ja Morant, MEM vs. PHO – PG ($9,600 DK; $9,800 FD)
I'll start things out once again with Ja Morant. We backed Morant last week and he did not deliver, going for just 17 points, three rebounds, and three assists. I'll look for him to bounce back tonight against the Suns as he projects to 24.21 points, 5.58 rebounds, and 7.36 assists. While the Grizzlies project to a small hit in the pace department, they should see a boost in offensive efficiency and point guard efficiency, where they come in at 104.42 and 1.26 respectively.
Jalen Suggs, ORL vs. ATL – PG/SG ($6,700 DK; $6,300 FD)
I'll take a look at Jalen Suggs next. Suggs should see quite a bit of usage tonight pending how much Markelle Fultz plays as he is currently listed as questionable for this one. Suggs projects to 21.11% usage across 32 minutes, and projects to 16.96 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists. The Magic project to play up against this Hawks team that ranks 28th in defensive efficiency (118), and Atlanta struggles against the guard positions, so Suggs is in a good spot to have a ceiling-type game here.
Others to consider: Devin Booker, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Eric Gordon, Klay Thompson

Today's DraftKings, FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Kevin Durant, PHO vs. MEM – PF ($9,800 DK; $10,100 FD)
I'll take a look at Kevin Durant next. He's a decent correlation play to Ja Morant as I believe they should go back and forth in what should be a fun Sunday night matchup. Durant has been lining up at a pseudo-power forward position, where the Grizzlies rank 26th in defensive efficiency (30.5). The positive regression projection for the Suns at that position would put them at the top of the NBA (33.96). Durant projects to 28.49 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.81 assists.
Isaiah Livers, DET vs. DEN – SF/PF ($4,100 DK; $3,900 FD)
I'll back Isaiah Livers in this spot next. Following their long losing streak, the Pistons quite frankly are the worst team in basketball, and worst in the league in offensive efficiency at the power forward position as well. Regardless, they project some minor positive regression (+0.26) at the position tonight. Livers projects to just 5.12 points, two rebounds, and 1.1 assists. With that said, he should see around 27 minutes of game time tonight, and is a fine value option on this slate.
Others to consider: Paolo Banchero, Zion Williamson, Aaron Gordon, RJ Barrett
Today's DraftKings, FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. DET - C ($11,200 DK; $12,100 FD)
I'll start things off at the center position with Nikola Jokic. Jokic projects to have another insane night, projecting a 28.06% usage rate across 36 minutes with 26.07 points, 11.67 rebounds, and 8.26 assists. Jalen Duren is a good center in terms of rebounding, but I don't think it'll be enough to stop the Joker as the Nuggets project to a massive 46.58 offensive efficiency at the center position. It'll be another big game for the two-time MVP tonight, and while I'm worried about the blowout factor, it's not enough to deter me from playing him.
Rudy Gobert, MIN vs. DAL – C ($7,000 DK; $8,000 FD)
I'll wrap things up tonight with Rudy Gobert. Gobert of course is not the offensive player that Nikola Jokic is, but provides a solid pivot option as he is in the beauty of a matchup against the Maverics tonight. The Mavs simply don't have anyone to contend with him on the glass, and they rank 23rd in defensive efficiency against centers (34.25). Gobert projects to 11.98 points, 12.14 rebounds, and 1.13 assists and very well may end up blowing past that rebound number.
Others to consider: Jonas Valanciunas
