Draft Daily - DFS Starting Pitchers
Chris Sale - P, at HOU ($11,000)
Sale has been an elite pitcher this season, posting a 5-2 record with a 2.76 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP through 12 starts. He has also posted an elite 12.5 K/9 through 75 innings. Sale has also been a better pitcher on the road this season, and he gets a matchup in an extremely pitcher friendly stadium. This is a tough matchup on paper, but Sale can be used in all leagues tonight.
Jameson Taillon - P, at STL ($6,800)
Taillon has had his ups and downs through 11 starts. Overall, he has posted a 2-4 record with a 4.53 ERA and and 1.25 WHIP. He has struggled with strikeouts at times, although he has an 8.4 K/9 this season. He gets a great matchup against the St. Louis Cardinals, who lead the slate in strikeouts per at-bat. Taillon is an underdog, but the game is set at only 8 runs. He's a great tournament option tonight.
Draft Daily - DFS Infielders
John Ryan Murphy - C, vs MIA ($3,900)
Murphy has been getting more at-bats recently, and he has caught fire over his last 10 games. Over that span, he has posted a .333 average with six extra-base hits (four home runs) and eight RBIs. He has also hit a home run in three of his last four games. He gets a good matchup against Elieser Hernandez, and Murphy makes a great option in all leagues tonight.
Jesus Aguilar - 1B, at CHW ($4,300)
Aguilar has been struggling a bit recently, but he has looked outstanding on the road this season. Through 24 road games, he has posted a .328 average with a .657 slugging percentage and a 1.041 OPS. Aguilar has also posted 0.06 wOBA and 0.102 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching, and he gets a great matchup against Hector Santiago. Aguilar can be considered in all leagues in this matchup.
Gleyber Torres - 2B, at BAL ($4,900)
Torres has caught fire over his last 10 games, hitting .306 with six extra-base hits (five home runs) and 11 RBIS. He has been an elite hitter for the majority of the season, and he gets a great matchup against Andrew Cashner tonight. Torres is playing in a hitter friendly stadium, and he makes a great option in all leagues.
Jake Lamb - 3B, vs MIA ($3,900)
Lamb has been struggling recently, but he has historically been a better hitter at home throughout his career. He gets a good matchup against Elieser Hernandez, and Lamb features 0.089 wOBA and 0.079 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. He has not been consistent enough to be used in cash games, but he makes a high upside tournament option.
Freddy Galvis - SS, vs CIN ($2,700)
Surprisingly, Galvis has been a better hitter at home this season. Through 33 games in San Diego, Galvis is hitting .246 with a .331 slugging percentage and a .641 OPS. He isn't a very powerful hitter, but he can string hits together and comes with good speed. He's a fairly consistent option for a low price tag, and he gets a great matchup against Tyler Mahle tonight. Galvis can be used in all leagues.
Draft Daily - DFS Outfielders
Lorenzo Cain - OF, at CHW ($4,400)
Cain has been playing well recently, hitting .325 with a .425 slugging percentage and an .838 OPS over his last 10 games. Bruce's numbers have been down this season, but his peripherals suggest he has been playing better than his numbers. Over the last 15 days, he has posted a 50% hard-hit rate with a 94 mph exit velocity. Bruce has also been a better hitter against right-handed pitching throughout his career, and he gets a solid matchup against Tyler Chatwood. Bruce is a high upside tournament option.
