BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: It has been a nice two-month stretch of leaps and bounds for Dorian Finney-Smith out of the Dallas Mavericks front court. From October through December, the former Florida Gator was in the unique position of seeing his playing time steadily increase, yet his usage rate was steadily decreasing at the same time from 13.7% to 11.3%, which was a key factor in his per game averages staying static until the crack of the new year.
To start off January, not only has Finney-Smith seen a season-best figure for minutes per game at 32.6, but he is also being utilized at a season-high rate of 15.1%, so he is being used more than he has all season from both a total volume and percentage basis. This rise in involvement has led to Finney-Smith putting up season-bests across the board with 11.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game. Not only that, but since the start of December, he has gone 40 for 94 from beyond the arc for a superb success rate of 42.6%. With Rick Carlisle calling his number more and more as the season goes on and Dorian Finney-Smith now making the most of that opportunity, he is in prime position to make considerable contributions as an addition off of the waiver wire.
