ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman didn’t play in the team’s Week 1 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. However, the veteran running back was productive last week, totaling 14 rushing attempts for 42 yards and 5.6 half-point PPR fantasy points. He played 38% of the snaps in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Jerome Ford played 44%.
Foreman isn’t an elite running back, but he has been solid for fantasy players in the past. Last year, he was the RB7 from Week 7 through Week 10, averaging 15 fantasy points per game. While Ford remains the lead back, Foreman could have flex value in Week 3 if he has the same role as last week.
The Browns face the New York Giants and their awful run defense on Sunday. New York has allowed a top-7 explosive run rate, rushing yards per game, and yards after contact per attempt this season.
D'Onta Foreman could be a plug & play RB2 this week

Fantasy players should add Foreman off the waiver wire and consider starting him as a low-end flex option this weekend.
