BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 16 percent of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: A popular sleeper in fantasy drafts this year, Domingo Santana hasn't quite delivered on that promise. That's partially due to a shoulder injury that hampered him for a while before he finally went on the disabled list. He's healthy now and batting second in the Brewers order, behind Jonathan Villar and ahead of Ryan Braun and Jonathan Lucroy. Not bad work if you can get it. Santana strikes out too much to be anything but a liability in batting average, but he has good raw power and is a quality baserunner. He's also among the leaders in exit velocity, which bodes well for the future.
Santana was in the Astros organization before coming over to Milwaukee in the Carlos Gomez trade last season, and he profiles similarly to former teammate George Springer. Springer has figured out how to cut down on his whiffs without sacrificing pop, an adjustment Santana has yet to make. But at just 23 years old, there's plenty of potential here.
