ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf will again serve as the alpha wide receiver in Seattle and should be started in all leagues in the season opener against the Denver Broncos.
Last season, Metcalf tallied 1,114 yards with eight scores on 66 catches. Even though he saw a slight drop in receptions in 2023, he posted more receiving yards with two more scores compared to the previous season.

His underlying metrics are elite and suggest the 26-year-old could be in store for another excellent campaign. He saw 37.9% of the team's air yards, averaged 2.11 yards per route run, and posted a strong 12.8 yards of average depth per target. All of these metrics placed him near the top among all pass catchers last season.
Given his big-play ability, Metcalf should remain in all fantasy lineups for the foreseeable future with the potential to finish near the top at his position every week.
