There's a new offense in Seattle and it should be fast.
The Seahawks ranked dead last in offensive snaps last season, failing to reach 1,000 plays. New offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, who helped lead the University of Washington to the National Championship game, is now calling plays.
How will this impact the trio of talented receivers on the Seahawks roster? Fantasy outlooks for DK Metcalf, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Tyler Lockett are below.

DK Metcalf 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Metcalf averaged 16.9 yards per reception (sixth in the league) and totaled 1,521 air yards (12th). Those are solid numbers that could have been even better. The sixth-year receiver also tallied 774 unrealized air yards (12th).
Metcalf has just one top-12 finish in his five-year career, back in 2020. The other three seasons (excluding his rookie season), he's been squarely in the WR2 range. Last season (WR21) was his worst finish of the bunch.
Metcalf is being selected as the WR18, according to Yahoo! ADP. Essentially, he's being drafted at his floor ahead of what appears to be a revamped offense, designed to get the football into his hands. The only concern is whether Geno Smith can be consistent enough at his age, with one great season to his name.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
The most hyped rookie wide receiver prospect in 2023 was a disappointment, largely due to target competition on a mediocre offense. When Jaxon Smith-Njigba was involved, the targets weren't of the high-value variety. The old coaching staff primarily utilized him near the line of scrimmage.
His 6.1 average depth of target was 95th among wide receivers. His air yards (569), yards per reception (10), and deep targets (10) didn't rank much better.
Don't worry, he's still incredibly talented. He continued to show that he was an excellent separator, just as he had displayed at Ohio State. The new coaching staff has stated that they won't deploy JSN in the same fashion as the old regime. Expect the second-year wideout to blossom, near the line of scrimmage and downfield.

Tyler Lockett 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
It appeared as if the ship had sailed on the aging career of Tyler Lockett, but he and the team restructured his contract to keep him in navy and green.
The 31-year-old saw his efficiency slip in 2023 and the fantasy football community finally witnessed the production decline they had been predicting for years, following the arrival of Metcalf. The torch is being passed to the receivers mentioned above.
There will be weeks when Lockett breaks away for one of his patented deep receptions. He is also still a threat in the short areas of the field. The new coaching staff appears to be prioritizing the talent playing next to him. His ADP is rightfully in the middle of the tenth round. He's a safe-floor option for bench depth, unlike the homerun swings fantasy managers will take on rookies like Brian Thomas Jr. and Keon Coleman in that range.
Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?
Contrary to the past few seasons, Tyler Lockett isn't a priority middle-to-late-round target. Metcalf in the fourth round and Smith-Njigba in the ninth are two receivers fantasy managers should be ecstatic to draft. Both are being selected at their floor and the Seattle offense should boost them higher.
