The Chicago Bears had one of the worst wide receiver corps in the NFL two years ago. Darnell Mooney was the only meaningful wide receiver on the team. However, Chicago has made massive improvements to its wide receiver corps since the end of the 2022 season.
The Bears acquired DJ Moore last offseason in a blockbuster deal with the Carolina Panthers for the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Bears also traded for Keenan Allen this offseason, sending the Los Angeles Chargers a fourth-round pick for the star wide receiver. However, the team wasn’t done there, using a top-10 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Rome Odunze.
While Chicago has arguably the best wide receiver core in the league, which one should fantasy football players draft in 2024? Let’s dive into it.

DJ Moore 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Moore was the WR6 in 2023, averaging 14 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran receiver had 96 receptions on 136 targets for 1,364 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, setting career highs in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. While he should remain the No. 1 wide receiver, fantasy players should expect his target volume to regress.

Keenan Allen 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Allen was the WR8 last year, averaging 17.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The star receiver had 108 receptions on 150 targets for 1,243 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 13 contests. Furthermore, he was the WR3 on a points-per-game basis, averaging more fantasy points than every wide receiver except Tyreek Hill and CeeDee Lamb. While Allen is still a talented receiver, the veteran won’t see the same target volume he had last season in 2024.

Rome Odunze 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Odunze won’t receive the same fantasy hype as fellow rookies Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers because of his target competition. However, the former Washington star is a talented pass-catcher. Furthermore, he has had an impressive training camp. He had 92 receptions for 1,640 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns last year. While he is the No. 3 wide receiver on the depth chart, Odunze should have a fantasy-relevant role as a rookie.

Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?
Fantasy players should temper their expectations for all three Chicago wide receivers this year because of target competition. Yet, all three should provide flex value or better in 2024. Moore should be the first drafted, followed by Allen and Odunze with similar ADPs. That said, the rookie is my favorite of the trio. Odunze provides the most upside at cost among the three wide receivers.
