ANALYSIS: Most people view Dion Lewis as a one-week fill in for LeGarrette Blount, but there could be more potential there. Lewis looks to be the clear choice to take over the Patriots' pass-catching-back role, which has the potential to be very productive. Lewis racked up 120 total yards in Week 1 against the Steelers, including four catches for 51 yards. Blount should still be a productive early-down back for the Pats this season, but he is not going to catch many balls. Shane Vereen put up 838 total yards and five touchdowns in this role last season. Lewis is a viable bye-week fill-in and potential starter if Blount were to miss more games.
