Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and fan favorite(ish) Dez Bryant agreed on a 5-year, $70 million dollar contract, exciting news that could have possibly replaced Viagra in Cowboys nation on Wednesday afternoon.
As most know, 26-year-old Bryant threatened to skip training camp and even regular-season games if his demands were not met by a front office known for letting talent slip through their BBQ greased fingers.
The fate of their ground game appeared to be in peril after running back DeMarco Murray did an about face and fled to rival Philadelphia Eagles, into the waiting open arms of head coach Chip Kelly.
Bryant’s deal includes $45 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus and probably rights to bitch slap quarterback Tony Romo in December if he fails in the clutch (one can wish). Now if only someone can strike up a deal to shut down that hashtag #DezCaughtIt, because, seriously?
