BALLER MOVE: Start in Eight+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR1
ANALYSIS: Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith rates as a solid fantasy WR1 option in Week 14 when the Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys, even with Dallas allowing the fifth-fewest passing yards per game in the NFL.
Smith's scored touchdowns in four of Philadelphia's last five games, including pulling one down on Nov. 5 when the Eagles last faced the Cowboys. Smith had three catches for 51 yards and a score in that one.
That game was the only time over the last five games that Smith hasn't finished with at least 96 receiving yards. On one hand, the fact that the only game with fewer than that number over that span came against Dallas might be a worrisome sign for his production this week, but on the other hand, the strong overall production from Smith over the past month can be viewed as an indicator that he's a matchup-proof fantasy WR1 at this point. Maybe his floor is a little bit lower this week than it is most weeks, but there's no fantasy format where you should consider sitting a player with the talent and ceiling of Devonta Smith.
