BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~24 Overall
CURRENT ADP: 26
ANALYSIS: Three players scored 50+ fantasy points in one game in 2023. Ja'Marr Chase and Amari Cooper finished in the top 20 at their position. De'Von Achane did not.
The Miami running back missed six games with injuries and played fewer than 10 percent of the snaps in two more. In those nine other games, he averaged 20.8 PPR fantasy points (inflated by 51.3 in Week 3). That would have placed him as the weekly RB3.
It's also very unlikely the second-year back sustains his insane efficiency. He led the league in yards per carry (7.7) and breakaway run rate (12.6%). One in approximately 13 of his attempts went for 15+ yards. The efficiency may dip but he can break off a long touchdown anytime.
The rookie is on fire! @ffvmousvon_ with the QUICK TD 🔥🔥

Head coach Mike McDaniel hopes to get Achane a couple more touches per game. He added a noticeable amount of mass to his 5-foot-9 frame to, hopefully, stay on the field. He'll split opportunities with returning starter Raheem Mostert.
Achane can be a top-5 RB. He can also catch the injury bug again and finish outside the top 20. Fantasy managers should play for a championship and take the gamble on Achane at the end of the second round.
