BALLER MOVE: Avoid Adding in 1QB Leagues

ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr had an outstanding performance in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. He was the QB6, totaling 21.3 fantasy points, scoring more than C.J. Stroud (18.7) and Jalen Hurts (16.4). The veteran completed 82.6% of his pass attempts for 200 yards and three touchdowns against the division rivals.
The first touchdown of the first Sunday this season belongs to Derek Carr, Rashid Shaheed and the @Saints!

Unfortunately, Carr doesn’t have an easy matchup again in Week 2. He faces a Dallas Cowboys defense that made life difficult for quarterbacks last season. They held quarterbacks to only 14.2 fantasy points per game, the seventh-fewest in the NFL.
More importantly, the Cowboys made Deshaun Watson look like the worst quarterback in the league in Week 1, holding him to only 169 passing yards, one touchdown, and 10.7 fantasy points on 45 attempts.
Fantasy players should avoid adding Carr off the waiver wire in 1QB leagues because of the matchup against Dallas in Week 2. Baker Mayfield (35% rostered) and Geno Smith (32% rostered) are betting streaming and short-term quarterback options.
