BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 7% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: After being nearly non-existent for the first two games of the season, Douglas emerged as the Patriots' top receiver in Week 3 as he caught seven of nine targets for 69 yards against the Jets.
Douglas's production was largely due to a pass-heavy game script as the Patriots went down several touchdowns and were forced to pass for most of the second half. He ran most of his routes from the slot and had seen a reduced snap share the first two weeks as the Pats went very run-heavy with multiple tight end sets.
Demario Douglas was finally a focal point for the #Patriots offense, tying a team-high with 8 touches designed to get him in space, including:
- Well-designed pitch off motion
- Intermediate in-breakers
- Quick-hitters vs LBs as the #3 in empty
- Slants from spread
- Screens pic.twitter.com/QW3xyIO7Xz— Taylor Kyles (@tkyles39) September 20, 2024
Douglas had one rushing attempt for nine yards on a toss play and it was clear that there was an attempt by the coaching staff to get him more involved this week.
The Patriots would be wise to keep him on the field more often and keep drawing up plays for him, as he's one of their more talented offensive players.
We likely see New England playing from behind a lot more often the rest of the season, so Douglas should have plenty of opportunities. The offensive line is struggling to protect Jacoby Brissett and Douglas runs short routes where Brissett can find him quickly if he's getting pressure.
He's more valuable in PPR formats, but he's worth a look in all formats if you need some depth at wide receiver or a weekly FLEX play that is likely matchup-based.

Mack Hollins (WR, BUF) - Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 11
BALLER MOVE: Don't Add ROSTERED IN: 3% of Leagues ANALYSIS: It's still not a good idea to use a waiver claim or even a bench spot on Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins. He caught all four of his targets for 86 yards last week, but that performance was the exception rather than the rule […]
