BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Demario Douglas looks like a solid play this week, especially in PPR formats where he has the most value. Managers were likely frustrated by his lack of usage last week in the Patriots' defeat to Jacksonville in London. However, that matchup was much better for their outside receivers and Douglas played a season-low 33% of the snaps as the Pats decided to go in a different direction.
This week, Drake Maye and the Patriots' offense will face the New York Jets and their banged-up defense. Back in Week 3, Douglas played a season-high 83% of the snaps against the Jets and caught 7 of 9 targets for 69 yards.
Demario Douglas has an absurd 40.5% target share when sharing the field with Drake Maye.
We already saw the Pats take on the Jets once this season. "Pop" Douglas in that game:
+ 38% target share
+ 58% receiving yardage share— Jacob Gibbs (@jagibbs_23) October 23, 2024
The Jets can be attacked with slot receivers, which is where Douglas lines up for the majority of his snaps. If New England struggles to establish the run, look for Maye to try to find some success in the short passing game where Douglas thrives.
It's not a sure thing, but Douglas has 9 targets in three of his last five games and could be heavily targeted again this week. He's best used as a flex play in deeper formats.

Whether you drafted a player in the early rounds, picked them up off waivers and held on to them while getting multiple solid games out of them, or just grabbed a player out of desperation due to lack of depth from being in a deep league or having a bunch of injuries, it's not fun […]
Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 16? Darnell Mooney, Amari Cooper, Deebo Samuel
There's an interesting (actually, miserable) tier of wide receivers in the league this year that have dropped absolute duds in some weeks. Some more often than others. Still, it makes it much more difficult to stomach starting players in must-win matchups when they've goose-egged you before or had low-scoring single-digit performances. Atlanta Falcons wide receiver […]

It's never fun to see running backs put up big games and have multiple high-scoring efforts in fantasy football, only to see them inexplicably regress at some point in the season.
