Despite being questionable, Adam Schefter has reported that Demarco Murray is expected to play in the Eagles matchup against the Washington Redksins today. Murray has struggled behind the Eagles offensive line in the first two games, running the ball 21 times for just 11 yards and a touchdown before missing Week 3 with a hamstring injury.
With Murray back in the lineup, he will look to prove his early season struggles were more of a fluke than a trend. It is unknown at this time whether Murray or Ryan Mathews will get the start for the Eagles. For now, it's hard to trust either as anything more than a flex play. The Washington defense has been solid against running backs so far this season, allowing the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs so far this season. I expect Darren Sproles' usage to continue to stay the same with Murray back in the lineup.
