BALLER MOVE: Target Around 35 Overall
CURRENT ADP: 53
ANALYSIS: The San Antonio Spurs missed the postseason for the first time since you were born last season, and we all dropped a collective tear. Okay, enough lamenting. DeMar DeRozan executed (obviously) his player option and will be a Spur at least to start the season in 2021. There is a chance San Antonio enters full rebuild mode through the year and DeDe gets moved before the trade deadline, but for now, he should remain a Spur. That's great by itself, but you have to also consider that both Derrick White and LaMarcus Aldridge are questionable to kick the season off playing, both carrying injury concerns.
Although there were glimpses of a change, DeRozan remained the same player he's always been: a mid-range bucket getter, no-threes shooter. Although DeDe shot more than 15 fga per game last year, he still hit more than 53 percent of those attempts and added 84+ percent of his freebies to his daily lines (6.6 fta per game). That's what made DeRozan a 22.1 ppg scorer and one of only five players with 22+ ppg, 15+ fga, and a fg% above 50 percent (and both Zion Williamson and Karl-Anthony Towns topped at 35 games played, a much smaller sample than the other three players' in the group).
DeMar's 39.1 FPPG ranked 37th in fantasy leagues last season, and DeRozan provided 5.5 rpg, 5.6 apg, and 1.0 spg per game on top of his great scoring. All things considered, he was a top-10 player at the SG/SF position in FPPG, played 34.1 mpg (that playing time is going nowhere), and his 2,656 total fantasy points were an even better 8th-best among that same group of players. Don't let DeDe slip through the fourth round if you don't want to lose a league-winning fantasy asset.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury. Ruled out Sunday, that made it four consecutive outings missed by the Kuz, which has clearly opened the door […]
