ANALYSIS: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins joined the team this week after spending the past 1.5 years with the Tennessee Titans. The veteran is the WR76 for the year, averaging 5.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, leading to many fantasy players dropping him before the trade to Kansas City.
While some thought the Chiefs would ease Hopkins into the offense, head coach Andy Reid has different plans for the veteran. Hopkins will play against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. The former superstar looks ready to go as Patrick Mahomes’ new No. 1 wide receiver.

Unfortunately, fantasy players should only target Hopkins in deeper leagues this week. The Raiders have held wide receiver to 23.1 fantasy points per game, the ninth-fewest in the NFL. They have surrendered only one receiving touchdown to wide receivers over their past four games.
