Well, the weather takes Round 1 in the rain vs. the 2024 Daytona 500.
NASCAR made the decision early on Sunday morning to go ahead and postpone the 66th-annual Daytona 500 until Monday, February 19, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. EST.
This comes after the sanctioning body made a similar decision on Saturday to postpone the Xfinity Series race until Monday as well.

A Doubleheader Monday Race Day
With both the Daytona 500 and the Xfinity Series being delayed until Monday at Daytona International Speedway, we now have a doubleheader of racing on the schedule to enjoy.
The United Rentals 300 will start at 11:00 a.m. EST while the Daytona 500 is scheduled to go green at 4:00 p.m. EST on Monday. Although any delay in racing is disappointing for the sports fans, it appears as though we will now be able to get the full races in and not have to worry about rain affecting them.
There are some showers possible at Daytona on Monday morning, but other than that, we're looking at a pretty clear day in Florida with odds of racing above 90%.

Where to Watch the Daytona 500 on Monday
Pretty much the only thing that is changing with the Daytona 500 this year is the start time. The race will still be broadcast on Fox and will feature the same 40 drivers that were slated to race on Sunday.
Joey Logano is on the pole for this year's Great American Race with Michael McDowell starting alongside him in second. Both of these drivers are previous Daytona 500 champions.
The lock time for lineups on DraftKings has also been moved to 4:00 p.m. EST on Monday.
