BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: After hitting .348 in April, Dayan Viciedo's batting average has come down to earth in May. The man known as Tank is now slashing .283 on the season with 27 R, 5 HR & 20 RBI. The 25 year-old outfielder has tremendous power but has always been known as a streaky hitter. With Avisail Garcia out for the year, Viciedo is cemented in the heart of the White Sox order and will gain some added protection when fellow Cuban Jose Abreu returns to the lineup next week. His 40 strikeouts are a concern, but Tank certainly has plenty of upside. After a three-run homer on Memorial Day, Dayan could be primed for another hot streak. Owners looking for an outfielder to provide power numbers in deeper leagues should add Viciedo off of the waiver wire if he is available.
