David Njoku fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 1 (2024). Should you start or sit David Njoku for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku enjoyed the best season of his career last fall and is shaping up to be a solid TE1 in all leagues in 2024.
Last season, Njoku caught a career-high 882 yards with six scores on 81 passes. This stat line placed him as the TE6 in PPR scoring last fall.
From Weeks 8-17, the former first-round selection was the overall TE1 in PPR scoring and held a stellar 15.8 PPG.
In addition, he showed excellent yards-after-catch ability (YAC) by averaging 7.5 yards after the catch, which placed him near the top of his position. He also saw a hefty 20.6% of the team's total targets as well which bodes well for his weekly floor.

In the season opener, he lines up against the tough Dallas Cowboys defense, who allowed just under ten PPR points per game to tight ends last season.
Despite this tough matchup, the Browns will likely be trailing at times in this game, which should provide Njoku plenty of opportunities to be peppered with targets down the field, especially in crunch-time situations.
Fantasy managers should feel confident starting Njoku in all leagues this weekend.
