David Hamilton is a top fantasy baseball waiver wire pickup for Week 13 (2024). Fantasy baseball managers should add David Hamilton as a waiver wire free agent in all leagues.
BALLER MOVE: Add in All Formats
ROSTERED IN: 44% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: One of the hottest waiver adds in fantasy baseball right now, David Hamilton is on fire. The toolsy youngster had some intermittent success early in the season but was very lightly rostered across leagues until June when he completely busted out.
Since June 1, Hamilton is hitting .317 with two home runs, four doubles, seven runs scored, five RBI, and five stolen bases.
Hamilton's hitting and speed on the basepaths have earned him more consistent playing time. The injury to Trevor Story opened up an opportunity for Hamilton and he's taken full advantage of it.
He's started all but two games in June and Boston has even experimented with him in the 2-hole behind fellow speedster Jarren Duran.

Hamilton has league-winning upside with his ability to get on base and swipe bags. He's already up to 14 steals on the season and is hitting .292 through his first 130 at-bats. He should be universally rostered at this point because if he continues at this pace, he could be heading for a top-75 finish.
