BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 5% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Minnesota Twins starting pitching prospect David Festa will make his major league debut on Thursday, June 27, against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In 59 2/3 innings at Triple-A this season, the young right-hander has showcased elite strikeout numbers with a 35.1% K rate and a 15.4% K-BB rate with a 3.77 ERA and 1.29 WHIP.
David Festa is making his MLB debut tomorrow and has been a steady rankings riser for the last two seasons.
2024 (AAA): 59.2 IP, 3.77 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, 9.7% BB, 35.1% K

Last season at Triple-A, the former Seton Hall product posted a much lower 27.8% K rate and 11.1% K-BB rate (in a smaller sample size), which is an excellent sign that Festa has continued to improve in the top level of the minors.
This season, Festa has struck out ten batters in three starts and eight in two, which showcases his high upside.
The number five ranked prospect in the Minnesota system is worth adding in all standard formats as he could earn a permanent role in the Twins rotation going forward as Chris Paddack (forearm) is on the 15-day injured list. Festa has a solid chance to provide elite strikeout numbers and will have several opportunities to win pitching on a strong Twins team.
