The 2024 NFL season is less than three months away, and all football fans are excited. Since the season is edging closer, fantasy football players have begun preparations for the fantasy drafts. In fantasy football, the wide receiver position is critical, and getting the right receiver for the season is key to success.
Davante Adams and Chris Olave are two of the premier wideouts in the league, and many managers will be looking forward to drafting them. Despite subpar quarterback play, both Olave and Adams had 1,000+ receiving yards last year.
Which player among Adams or Olave should the fantasy football managers prioritize to draft? Let's take a look at both of their fantasy outlooks for 2024.

Davante Adams' 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Ever since his arrival from Green Bay, Davante Adams has been the most consistent Raiders player. He is coming off a season in which he had 103 receptions for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns in 17 games.
The Raiders' quarterback situation and Josh McDaniels' coaching didn't help Adams, but despite that, the veteran receiver put up another great season. With Antonio Pierce as their head coach, the AFC West franchise has found a new direction, and they expect quarterback Aidan O'Connell to play better this year.
Moreover, the Raiders also signed Gardner Minshew in free agency, who will step up if O'Connell doesn't play well. Adams is poised for another prolific season with the Raiders, and it would be surprising if he doesn't surpass his numbers from last year.
One-handed. With the defender all over him. Ridiculousness from Davante.

Chris Olave's 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Chris Olave, a first-round pick from the 2022 NFL Draft, is off to a great start in the NFL. He has had two successive 1,000+ receiving yards seasons to start his career, and the future looks bright for him. The Saints haven't had good quarterback play in the last two years, but Derek Carr is expected to be much better than he was last year.
If Carr continues to struggle, then the franchise might look to bench him and give Spencer Rattler an opportunity. As a result, Olave could find himself in a much more favorable position to perform than in the last two years, though there is no guarantee.
The Ohio State product is coming off a season in which he had 87 receptions for 1,123 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games, averaging 70.2 receiving yards per game. Now entering his third year, Olave is expected to have another 1,000-yard season and put himself in a great position to get a big contract in 2025.
CHRIS OLAVE JUST DID THAT.

Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?
Both Chris Olave and Davante Adams are projected to put up big numbers for their teams. However, I'll give a slight edge to Adams, as he will likely end up with more touchdowns than the Saints star.
New Orleans has a very good running game, and the presence of Taysom Hill opens up the opportunity for various trick plays during the season. The Raiders, on the other hand, will be heavily pass-reliant, as they have a plethora of good catchers like Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Brock Bowers, and Michael Meyer.
Adams won't have to shoulder the team's offensive burden due to the presence of other talented players. It will open up opportunities for him to be a red-zone target and rack up a good number of touchdowns.
