BALLER MOVE: Worth a look in 14+ Team PPR Leagues

ANALYSIS: I know many people just read the name Darrius Heyward-Bey and their eyes glaze over. Once a player gets the Raiders stink, it is hard to shake off. But Heyward-Bey has been impressive so far this season. While the lion's share of targets will always remain with Antonio Brown (as well as Le'Veon Bell once he returns from suspension in Week 3), Heyward-Bey has made the most out of his playing time the last two weeks. He has more targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns than Markus Wheaton, who was hyped as the player most likely to benefit from Martavis Bryant's four-game suspension. Heyward-Bey also dropped a touchdown in Week 1 against the Patriots. And while a drop should never be seen as a positive, it bears to acknowledge that Run DHB's stats could be even better this year. Heyward-Bey's value will clearly drop once Bryant returns. But until then, I would take a chance on him in deep leagues, especially if bonuses are given out for big plays. The Steelers offense is one of the units you want to own players on. So while defenses are focusing on stopping Bell, Brown and Bryant, you may be able to get a guy that Big Ben will rely on as the season progresses.
