BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 28% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson got his first real opportunity in NFL action this past week while the team's starting running back Todd Gurley (thigh) was sidelined and he performed exceptionally well. It remains to be seen whether or not Gurley will be able to suit up for Week 7, but with a juicy matchup against the Falcons lined up, adding Henderson just in case would be a wise move.
Henderson saw six carries in Week 6 against the 49ers and gained 39 yards, good for 6.5 yards per carry. He also had a nine-yard reception. Malcolm Brown was the team's lead back in Week 6, but it took him 11 carries to get to 40 yards, averaging only 3.6 yards per carry.
Henderson is worth adding in leagues of 14 teams or deeper. He's a sneaky starting option this next week if Gurley remains out. Brown's presence limits Henderson's ceiling, but even if Henderson could get a few extra touches against the Falcons in Week 7, he could deliver a few big plays and potentially find the end zone for the first time in his career. He also has longterm value in the scenario where he continues to outproduce Brown and Gurley misses more time.
