ANALYSIS: With Allen Robinson III the clear WR1 of the Bears, it's all about Darnell Mooney and Anthony Miller when it comes to getting that WR2 role and the opportunities that come with it. And nine weeks into the season, the under-the-radar-rookie Mooney has had the edge over Miller.

Mooney has played 68% of Chicago's snaps compared to Miller's 57% snap share. That's a substantial edge in raw numbers, with Mooney featuring in 426 total plays to Miller's 356. The outcomes, though, have been pretty much the same for both. Mooney has scored 76.5 PPR points through the year to Miller's 74.0, but the opportunities keep going mostly Mooney's way and that should be enough for him to keep getting better chances of finishing higher.

Mooney has been targeted 6+ times four times since Week 4, while Miller only twice. They have two touchdowns each, but Mooney edges Miller in receiving yards (348), average Y/R (11.1), and is just one catch short of his receptions (31 to 32). Mooney's 8.5 PPR per game are far from league-winning, but he's finished as a WR2 once and WR3/FLEX two other times this season.

The Bears offense stinks a bit, and Foles isn't the most promising thing around at the QB position. That being said, Chicago faces the third-worst team at stopping WRs this next week (MIN) before going on a bye. If only for a week, consider Mooney a must-add-and-start in deeper leagues and a potential FLEX streamer in shallower formats.
