ANALYSIS: Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney made his team debut in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but things didn't go according to plan. He only caught one pass for 15 yards while seeing three targets in the contest.
The Falcons offense struggled as a whole in Week 1, including Kirk Cousins. Cousins only completed 18 passes for 155 yards and one touchdown in the contest, so it's not a surprise that Mooney didn't have a great fantasy day. However, he is still a solid add in most 14-plus team leagues heading into Week 2.

Atlanta's offense should have better days moving forward, which would help Mooney's fantasy value throughout the season. He should operate as the team's WR2 in 2024, making him a nice add in some formats. The 26-year-old played 95% of the Falcons' offensive snaps in Week 1.
