ANALYSIS: Danny Green got himself a ring last season playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, and not happy with staying with the current, defending chaps, opted for a more challenging way to face the 2021 season: signing with the contender Philadelphia 76ers for another attempt at glory. And so far, so good for a Green that is starting nightly for the Sixers (he's 33-of-33) and playing north of 29 minutes while at it.
Green is at a point in his career when he's no longer the honcho of the defense nor the offense, but he's still more than usable as a starter and productive asset. Just looking at game logs from this month, Green has logged at least 26 minutes in all but two games (10-of-12) and his per-minute efficiency numbers aren't great in fantasy terms just because those minutes have been super heavy.
Danny is at an average 8-3-1-1 line in the past 12 contests, which is not going to blow your mind away, but he's also doing what you would expect from him: hitting treys with gusto. Green is dropping 2.3 3PG in February and 2.2 on the season as a whole, which talks about a steady producer on that front. His true shooting percentage sits at 63% on the last 12 games, and at an even better 72% in the past couple of weeks. If you're hurting for scoring/three-point shooting with some upside on the rebounds/steals cats, Danny is your man.
