BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 11% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce could get playing time if lead back Joe Mixon misses time, but he's a terrible fit for their rushing scheme. However, his opponent in Week 4, the Jacksonville Jaguars, have one of the worst defenses against running backs in the league.
In addition, the Jaguars lost one of their best defensive players, LB Foye Oluokun. Houston's backs could have an easy time against a team in complete disarray with an inept offense and one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
#Jaguars standout LB Foye Oluokun is expected to miss several weeks as he deals with plantar fasciitis, per sources.
No surgery needed and not a worst-case scenario. But Jacksonville is 0-3 and now will be without one of its best players for at least a few games. pic.twitter.com/egWiOQxHpp

That being said, it's not known whether Pierce will split time with fellow running back Cam Akers. If they play in a timeshare, both could have a tough time being relevant in fantasy. In addition, Pierce didn't practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury. He's expected to return in Week 4, but he could still be dealing with the lingering effects.
#Texans RB Dameon Pierce is expected back this week from his hamstring injury, while starting RB Joe Mixon is still week to week with his ankle injury, according to @AaronWilson_NFL pic.twitter.com/DmjHG39sBF

It's difficult to recommend starting him if he ends up being in a timeshare with Akers, but he's not the worst start in the world in deeper leagues. If your league has 12 or fewer teams, he's probably not worth picking up.
