BALLER MOVE: Start In Most 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-End TE1
ANALYSIS: Dalton Schultz is coming off his first season with the Houston Texans, having delivered varying levels of production. The Stanford product was a top-10 tight end in seven of his 15 games, but there were also five weeks when he finished as the TE35 or worse.
Ultimately, Schultz had weeks where he struggled to pull targets away from the likes of Nico Collins and Tank Dell. That challenge will intensify this season with Stefon Diggs in the fold.
We also can't ignore tight end Brevin Jordan, who consistently got on the field during preseason. He'll likely see most of his reps at fullback or in two-tight end sets this year, which bodes well for Schultz, but we still can't ignore Jordan's increased involvement.
In Week 1, Schultz faces a Colts defense that allowed modest production to tight ends last year. They allowed the eighth-most receptions and 10th-most yards to the position but then surrendered just three touchdowns to tight ends (second-fewest).

Schultz has the talent and existing rapport with C.J. Stroud, but we just don't know what his exact role will be in such a crowded offense.
As a result, fantasy managers should temper expectations and view Schultz as a low-end TE1 for Week 1 — roughly 13th or 14th at the position. Therefore, he's a fringe starter in most 14-team leagues and possibly in 12-team leagues where you didn't prioritize the tight end position in drafts.

BALLER MOVE: Start In All Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2 ANALYSIS: The consensus is that George Pickens has benefitted the most from Pittsburgh's move from Justin Fields to Russell Wilson. Marvin Harrison Jr. - Week 10 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Consider in 12+ Team Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3 ANALYSIS: The Arizona Cardinals run at the eighth-highest rate in the league. Kyler Murray - Week 10 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Consider in 14+ Team Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2 ANALYSIS: The Cardinals prefer to lean on James Conner and the running game on offense.
