BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 17% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Dallas Goedert must be one of the most underappreciated players in all of (fantasy) football, and surely one of the most under-the-radar assets out there. With just a 17% ownership rate, he outperformed one of the best tight ends in the league, Zach Ertz, while playing alongside him from Weeks 6 to 8. Although in Week 9 the course reverted back to what should be normal, that added to the Eagles bye week makes Goedert one of the best waiver wire targets.
As I said, Ertz is going to get all of the attention from fantasy GMs after his "normal" performance in Week 9 where he put up 25.3 fantasy points. Goedert wasn't bad, mind you, but of course that mark was always going to be impossible to reach for him. He finished the weekend with 7.9 fantasy points but he still saw five targets and hauled in four passes for 39 yards.
Considering how bare of talent the tight end position is this season and how random the outcomes are from the players labeled in it, Goedert is a good option to consider streaming weekly. Of course, he is not a lock at your tight end or even flex slot, but with Philadelphia still carrying more than one injured player on offense and the door still open for a healthy dose of targets and opportunities, you should pick Goedert before he gets to play and award points to any other GM in your league.
