Welcome to the Wednesday, September 11th edition of Daily Slivers of the Fantasy Soapbox.
Discussing baseball is as fun as the game itself. It has a way of bringing people together to share different opinions about the sport we all love. A similar action can be done with fantasy baseball where we not only discuss topics but also look to improve our teams as well as the teams of our fellow fantasy baseball enthusiasts. Everyone has their own perspectives which are not to be cast off as frivolous. They should be used as a method of expanding our own knowledge.
In this article, I review the previous day's boxscores and provide my opinion on a variety of topics. Some will be random, some will be fun, and some will be stat-driven. It's a soapbox so I may rant from time to time as well. So without any further delay, below are my thoughts on September 11th. Enjoy them. You can even respond with your own thoughts on Twitter @EllisCan2.

- Max Fried loses, but 4.02ERA (3.79FIP). 18.5%K-BB. Solid starter
- Remember when Bryce Harper was 1st rd pick. Is 31HR, 11SB, .254AVG worth the 2nd rd.
- Mookie Betts is turning it on w/five long balls in seven games.
- Benny & the jets. Well, 10SB worth of Jets. 13HR & .274AVG equals a complete letdown year for Andrew Benintendi.
- Bo Bichette gives the Jays excitement. 10HR, 4SB, .307AVG.
- Anyone still in on Cavan Biggio? 13HR/10SB makes the hips go. .208AVG brings music to screeching halt.
- It’s a Zack Attack! Zac Gallen & Zack Wheeler have bright futures. Zach Plesac had a Complete game shutout W as well.
- 41.5%Chase and Eduardo Escobar reaches 34 big ones.
- Jose Berrios does have his elite days. 12W.
- Mitch Garver gives Gary Sanchez some company in the lonely 30-HR camp for catchers.

- Austin Meadows (29) lets people capture the HR landscape.
- The race ends in a tie. Danny Santana & Rougned Odor both finish w/two.
- The A’s figure they’d have to score 21 to keep up w/Astros.

- Matt Olson sends two into space (31).
- Khris Davis has fifth multi-hit game in 55 games. Injury?
- Wade Miley still 67% owned. 0.1IP, 7ER. Ouch! Use a tourniquet instead of a bandaid.
- Adalberto Mondesi gives more than just speed. Eight dingers.
- Yoan Moncada w/452ft piece of destruction.
- Eloy Jimenez has power (25), waiting on AVG from minors to arrive.
- Fun ball hasn’t helped Nolan Arenado as much as others. 38 taters are in his usual range.
- What year is it? Johnny Cueto pitching five scoreless innings?
- Francisco Lindor, if you don’t stop it, everyone will remember you’re a stud and put you in top-three. 30HR, 21SB, .296AVG is so damn delicious.
- Justus Sheffield was lovely for us. Denied the W thanks to the bullpen.
- For fear of not reaching 30HR, Kris Bryant tries to put a little pep in his step (28).
