Daily League Fantasy Baseball Lineup Card: May 15, 2013

In the preseason, we brought you Daily League Strategy Part 1 and Part 2. Now, all season long, I will be giving you my advice on whom to start in your daily fantasy lineups. For now, this advice and pricing will cater to those who play on Fanduel.  They offer some of the best gaming options for beginners, intermediate, and expert level players. Our job here at RotoBaller is to make your daily fantasy gaming experience a fun and successful one. Whether you are new to the daily fantasy scene or have been playing for years, our columns will be up-to-date and useful for all levels of experience. If you are new to the scene, tweet me at @RotoCole and I will personally show you the ropes. Let’s win together. Ladies (one or two reading this) and gentlemen, here is your late game Daily Fantasy Baseball lineup advice for all games on May 15th, 2013:

Salvador Perez 8-9-2012Hump Day Play of the Day: C Salvador Perez ($2,400) - So cheap, and pretty darn good. Perez has 5 multi-hit games this May and will face young righty Barry Enright. Start Perez, save money and spend big in other areas.

RotoCole's Fanduel Lineup:

P: Phil Hughes ($5,700) - This Mariners team struggles against righties, and Hughes has been pretty tough on them lately. He is the best bargain pitcher available today.
C: Salvador Perez ($2,400) - Play of the Day!
1B: Anthony Rizzo ($4,200) - One of May's hottest hitters has a nice matchup at home against Jon Garland.
2B: Omar Infante ($3,400) - How about the season Infante is quietly having. He might end up an All-Star if this continues.
3B: Miguel Cabrera ($4,900) - His salary is back under 5K and today he faces a young lefty in Dallas Keuchel.
SS: Derek Dietrich ($3,000) - He's a darkhorse Rookie-of-the-Year candidate with his hot start. I like him to stay hot today.
OF: Josh Hamilton ($3,300) - Still a bargain price for a guy who can put up 5+ FPs relatively easily. He hit a homer yesterday. so I'm confident in him today.
OF: Nick Markakis ($3,100) - He is cheap and is 4-for-7 in his career against Jason Marquis.
OF: Ryan Braun ($4,900) - Anytime your lineup includes Braun and Cabrera, you should be good to go. Add the fact that each has a great matchup, and it should make for a solid night.

Last, but certainly not least, make sure you check today’s lineups before setting your team!
