Tonight is a very interesting slate, eight games with plenty of defense and very interesting contests that will be fun to watch. I can tell you right now, Russell Westbrook will have day...again. Anthony Davis and Al Horford will trade buckets, while Kemba Walker is going to stun San Antonio with Nic Batum by his side. These are my bold predictions of the day and to cap it off, I suggest watching/stacking the Bulls @ Raptors, it should be a scoring bonanza.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/7/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel. Let's get rolling.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Emmanuel Mudiay - PG, @ OKC ($4,600)
Rusell Westbrook is too busy hunting for triple-doubles to play defense and when Emmanuel Mudiay's price is so cheap, you have to give him a spot on your lineup. He is turnover prone but has improved his overall decision making after he started to lose minutes. Sometimes talented players need to slide to the bench before they manage to utilize their skills. Mudiay is one of those players that can score in bunches and although streaky, can be a fantasy gem when they are hitting on the same day you put them in your lineup. Mudiay hits very rarely, but when he does, it is something you will want to benefit from.
Victor Oladipo - SG, vs DEN ($6,600)
Again, while Russell Westbrook is chasing his triple-double, Victor Oladipo will sit, wide-open on the wing, knocking down shots against the Nuggets. The Nuggets defense is exploitable and expect the Thunder to have no problem slicing through the Nuggets 'Swiss-cheese' defense. I am not a big fan of Oladipo but even I know when he will be in for a big night and the Thunder have missed his scoring. He is capable of hitting shots and having a big night, every night, and when the Thunder play at home, they have an entire new energy around them. Oladipo benefits when the players around him are able to score and that should be the case tonight.
Also Consider: Dennis Schroder - PG, @ DAL ($6,500)
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Tobias Harris - SF, @ POR ($6,200)
Trail Blazers defense has been below average the entire season and Tobias Harris is a fantastic isolation scorer. He has been scoring with ease as of late and there is no reason it should come to an end against Portland. The Pistons have yet to find a consistent scorer that is able to be their 'go-to' guy, while both Reggie Jackson and Tobias Harris have made fine cases in multiple circumstances. That being said, Harris is a much better interior scorer while Jackson is able to generate the offense, leaving those two to be the main sources of offense on most nights. I know that was a lot but I'm just trying to tell you that if you are going to pick Pistons players, Harris and Jackson will be you're most consistent options in Detroit and Tobias shines in late games, especially when Detroit is desperate for scoring.
Nikola Mirotic - PF, vs TOR ($4,500)
The Raptors frontcourt is missing a defensive presence which should be exploited by sharpshooter, Nikola Mitotic. His ability to hit from anywhere on the court, combined with his length and ability to get rebounds and you have a nice DFS play for tomorrow. He could easily go for a healthy double-double agains the Raptors, with an emphasis on scoring. Mirotic is one of the top DFS plays every night, simply due to his ability to knock down shots and rake in rebounds, but is still streaky. Make sure you play Mitotic in the right situations, like tonight.
Also Consider: Paul Millsap - PF, @ DAL ($7,500)
FanDuel DFS Centers
Rudy Gobert - C, @ MIN ($7,100)
I think that the past four articles, the center I have advised has been Rudy Gobert. He offers so much as far as stats and is basically unstoppable down low. He manages to sneak in lay-ups on lacksadaisical defenders. Karl-Anthony Towns is not the best defender, leaving Gobert the perfect opportunity to take over this game. The Jazz defense is able to slow down any offense and if the Timberwolves are slowed down, expect Gobert to have a day, even in Minnesota.
Also Consider: Joakim Noah - C, @ IND ($5,400)
