There are seven games on the slate tonight that offer plenty of quality matchups to choose from. I would suggest stacking a Suns-Nuggets game, a potentially high-scoring bout between two fast paced teams, led by their offensive skills rather than defense. Although the Grizzlies @ Jazz game will not be nearly as high-scoring, it is going to be a battle between two of the best defensive teams in the Association.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/28/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Ricky Rubio - PG, vs BKN ($6,700) 

Great matchup and as bad as his defense is, it won't matter here. These are two teams at the bottom of their respective conferences, and while Brooklyn may be giving some teams a hard time, Ricky Rubio should not have any problem getting the rim and distributing the ball. Rubio is still the lead ball-handler on the team and given his minutes and ability to find his teammates, Rubio is a great option. Although Rubio is not the most efficient scorer, Brooklyn sacrifices plenty of points to opposing point guards.

Devin Booker - SG, vs DEN ($6,800) 

Devin Booker has been lighting it up lately and the Nuggets have not been the best defensive team against opposing sharpshooters this season. Eric Bledsoe should be able to dissect the Nuggets defense, allowing Booker to take plenty of wide open shots. This should be a close game that involves minimal defense and maximum scoring. Take the best shooter on both teams.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Danilo Gallinari - SF, @ PHO ($6,400) 

If Devin Booker is the best shooter in this game, Danilo Gallinari is in the running for second. Wilson Chandler is dealing with a neck strain and will play, but in case he sees less minutes, look for Gallinari to pick up any extra offensive slack. Gallinari has been getting plenty of minutes and has scored at least double-digits all but one game he has played in this season. His price tag is a tad high, but tonight, he should exceed his projected.

Marreese Speights- PF, vs GSW ($4,400) 

I am a big fan of revenge games and this is going to be a good one. Marreese Speights has been an efficient shooter this season while the Clippers deal with injuries. Although Blake Griffin is back in the lineup, Speights offers his own specific skill set that makes him valuable against a high-scoring Warriors team. If the Clippers want to keep this game close, they will need as much scoring as they can get.

Also Consider: Caris LeVert - SF, @ MIN ($4,400)

DeMarcus Cousins - C, @ POR ($10,900) 

Without Rudy Gay, DeMarcus Cousins has the potential to go off, each and every night. That being said, he has a great matchup tonight and should be played despite his hefty price tag. He is not the best rebounder or defender, but against Cody Zeller, Cousins should dominate in all aspects. DeMarcus Cousins is one of those players that has the potential to go off for 50 against any opponent and when that happens, you need him in your lineup.
