There are only a couple of days before Christmas, so winning a little bit of extra money would sure help with all those presents you probably still need to buy. Hopefully, this article can help. It is a short five-game slate tonight.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/22/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Goran Dragic - PG, vs LAL ($7,400)

Goran Dragic posted two games under 30 fantasy points in his last six attempts. He generally posts around 40 fantasy points, and his price tag is very reasonable, so on a short slate, he can be used in all leagues. The Los Angeles Lakers are obviously not known for their defense, so Dragic should not have too much trouble finding open shots. With a ceiling around 50 fantasy points, he makes for a great tournament option.

J.J. Redick - SG, vs SAS ($4,400)

JJ Redick is a fantastic tournament option tonight against the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are one of the better defensive teams in the league, but Redick is so cheap that his matchup does not matter all that much. In his last game, he posted over 35 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Denver Nuggets. He tends to hang around 20 fantasy points, but with such great upside, it is worth considering him in deeper leagues. Remember, there are only five games to choose from, so finding value is going to be a little bit difficult.

Also Consider: Josh Richardson - SG, vs LAL ($4,200)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - SF, at LAC ($8,000)

Kawhi Leonard struggled heavily against the New Orleans Pelicans two games ago, posting under 20 fantasy points in 24 minutes. Tonight, he gets a good matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, a team that should keep the game close enough to interest Leonard. With over 35 fantasy points in six of his last seven games, the San Antonio Spurs' small forward can be used in all leagues. He is very consistent, and he also has great upside.

Luol Deng - SF, at MIA ($4,600) 

Luol Deng has been playing extremely well of recent for the Los Angeles Lakers. He currently has over 20 fantasy points in seven straight games, and he even posted over 30 fantasy points twice during that stretch. The Miami Heat are not great defensively, and Deng should continue to see 30 plus minutes on the court. His price tag is starting to adjust, but it is not there yet. Use Deng in both 50/50 contests and tournaments until he starts to cool down or his price tag comes up.

FanDuel DFS Centers

DeAndre Jordan - C, vs SAS ($7,400)

DeAndre Jordan gets a tough matchup tonight against the San Antonio Spurs, but he is finally starting to play better at the center position for the Los Angeles Clippers. Blake Griffin is still injured, and Jordan has been rebounding and scoring better without him. With over 40 fantasy points in two of his last four games, Jordan's price tag is very reasonable. He has over 15 rebounds in two of his last three games. There is no reason to avoid Jordan in any formats tonight.

Also Consider: Myles Turner - C, vs BOS ($6,700)
