Kyle Busch took home the checkered flag on Sunday at Sonoma Raceway which proved to be one of his biggest wins of his career. It was only his fifth race of the year after suffering a broken leg and shattered ankle back in February in Daytona. The win on Sunday opens up the door for Busch to punch his ticket into the Nascar Chase for the Sprint Cup playoffs. In the remaining 10 races of the regular season Busch will need to average around a 14th place finish to get inside the top 30 in the standings to qualify and use his win to get in. The win marks the 11th straight year Busch was captured at least one win in a season.
Coming in second this past week was Kyle's brother Kurt. It was the first time the brothers have finished first and second in their NASCAR careers. Clint Bowyer, Kevin Harvick, and Joey Logano completed the top 5 at Sonoma after a late race restart which saw Jimmie Johnson lead the way to the green flag. Jimmie had stayed out of the pits during the yellow flag, which ended up costing him as the five drivers that finished ahead of him all had fresh tires on the restart.

DraftKings Race Recap
Kurt Busch - Finished(2nd) DraftKings Points(69.25)
He came close to getting by his brother on the final few laps but ended up with a 2nd place finish to continue his strong season. He was 33.5% owned and was the top scorer. He was the only driver who ran inside the top 15 the entire race.
Jeff Gordon - Finished(16th) DraftKings Points(15.75)
Running inside the the top 15 only 60.9% of the race, Gordon was a disappointment in Sonoma. He finished 16th and ended up with negative pass and place differential points on DraftKings. His final race in his home state didn't go as planned.
Kasey Kahne - Finished(8th) DraftKings Points(63.75)
Kahne was the only other driver who topped 60 points on DraftKings this week. He picked up most of those by pass and place differential after starting the race in the 26th position. He was only 14.2% owned and was a great play across the board.
Greg Biffle - Finished(27th) DraftKings Points(9)
At only 9.8% owned he was a great value going into the race, however he never got into a rhythm and finished in the 27th position. He ended up with negative points for pass and place differential and had no fast laps during the race. He will definitely be ready for Daytona next weekend.
Casey Mears - Finished(38th) DraftKings Points(-26)
After spending almost half the race inside the top 15, Mears got into a late race accident and finished in the 38th position.
