Welcome to the Daily Fantasy Hockey (NHL DFS) lineup picks article for February 9th of the 2015/2016 NHL season. Each Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, I'll be providing you with five picks (G, C, W, W, D) for FanDuel and DraftKings GPP and cash games.
We have a huge 12 game slate on tap for tonight in the NHL. Four teams (FLA, NJ, ANH, TB) are playing on back to back nights with all but the Devils on the road. With so many games, it provides us with plenty of goalie options for tonight and a ton of value to allow us to pay up for the some top scoring talent.
Let's take a look at a few core plays for tonight.

NHL DFS Picks for Tuesday, February 9th, 2016
Ben Bishop - Goaltender, Lightning (DraftKings - $7,700 FanDuel - $8,900)
Has been playing terrific for the Bolts lately picking up wins in six of his last seven games and only allowing more than two goals in two of those games. While it appears to be a tough road matchup, the Lightning have beat the Habs five of the last six game in Montreal and the Habs have been free falling in the standings lately without their superstar goalie Carey Price.
Vincent Trocheck - Center, Panthers (DraftKings - $4,900 FanDuel - $6,500)
His five game point streak came to an end last time out but could be asked to step up again on Tuesday with the injury to Aleksander Barkov. Trochek now has 33 points on the season centering the Panthers second line with Reilly Smith and Jussi Jokinen. Great value play tonight, especially on DraftKings where he is below $5K.
John Gaudreau- Winger, Flames (DraftKings - $7,100 FanDuel - $8,500)
Whenever the Flames are playing at home you have to consider Johnny Hockey as an elite play. His Home/Road splits are alarming. In 26 home games he has tallied 36 points with a +20 rating. In 27 road games he has only recorded 16 points with a disappointing -11 rating. Add to it that the Flames get to face the Leafs tonight and Gaudreau is a must play.
Jakub Voracek - Winger, Flyers (DraftKings - $6,400 FanDuel - $8,200)
The salary is rising on the Flyers star winger as he has put his slow start to the season in the rear view mirror. Voracek now has 13 points(6 on PP) in his last 10 games with 34 shots on goal and has added a +2 rating and eight penalty minutes. He is much cheaper on DraftKings and makes a terrific stack tonight with Claude Giroux and Wayne Simmons. Add Brayden Schenn as a cheap filler who centers the top PP unit.
Nick Leddy - Defense, Islanders (DraftKings - $4,400 FanDuel - $4,400)
He is coming off his best offensive game of the year, picking up three assists in a 8-1 pounding of the Oilers on Sunday. He now has five points(3 on PP) in his last four games and comes at a nice discount below $4.5K on both sites. The Islanders travel to Columbus to face the Blue jackets tonight who are 9-15 at home and rank dead last in goals allowed per game.
