NHL DFS Picks for Friday, December 4th
Welcome to the Friday night edition of daily fantasy hockey picks. There are seven games in the NHL tonight with some possible high scoring games. The high end goaltender market is thin tonight so we can save some of our salary cap and load up on forwards and defensemen. Let's take a look at some core plays.
Tuukka Rask - Goaltender, Bruins (DraftKings - $7,600 FanDuel - $8,200)
He should get the nod when the Bruins visit Calgary tonight as he has a 3-0 career record vs. the Flames. He started the year very slow but has since been very solid. He has a streak of three straight wins before losing a tough one in overtime to the Oilers last time out. Look for a bounce back win for the Bruins Friday night.
Tyler Seguin - Center, Stars (DraftKings - $8,800 FanDuel - $8,700)
He continues to produce on the leagues #1 offense and his price keeps creeping back down. He is coming off a goal last night and has now seen his FanDuel salary drop another $100. With his price under $9,000 on both sites, he is an elite play. The Stars should be able to keep the scoring going Friday as the Oilers are ranked 27th in goals allowed per game.
Alex Steen - Winger, Blues (DraftKings - $6,500 FanDuel - $7,900)
He has been a very consistent fantasy producer even when he isn't scoring with the shots he is taking. He has 21 points on the year with a +3 rating and 76 shots on goal. He has also added 20 penalty minutes which is a nice bonus for FanDuel. With Tarasenko banged up right now, the Blues will look to their secondary options to carry the scoring enter Steen.
Adam Henrique - Winger, Devils (DraftKings - $5,000 FanDuel - $4,100)
A very nice cheap wing option who provides consistent scoring. He has 20 points on the year, including points in five of his last six games. He is also a +8 for the year and has added 61 shots on net. The Devils are home to the Flyers on Friday who they carry a three game win streak against.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson - Defense, Coyotes (DraftKings - $5,400 FanDuel - $5,800)
If you are looking for a D man who isn't going to cost an elite price and provides a nice floor, Ekman-Larsson is your guy. He is averaging 16.5 shot attempts per 60 minutes which has produced 74 shots on the season. He has put up 17 points in 25 games and added two powerplay goals as he is averaging 5:30 per game with the man advantage. He will carry some upside into his matchup in Buffalo on Friday as he is riding a two game point streak.
