- "Shots attempted per 60 minutes" reflects a players shots on net + shots that missed net + shots that were blocked. It's a key stat to show how much a player possesses the puck generally, and is a predictive indicator for the number of shots a player will get on net.
- "Points per 60 minutes" reflects a players point production per 60 minutes of ice time. This is a great indicator of how productive a player is in their ice time. If a player has a high Points/60, and they get moved up to a top line, they'll represent a key sleeper play in the we

NHL DFS Picks for for Tuesday, November 17th
Tuesday night in the NHL presents us with eight games. The St. Louis Blues and Anaheim Ducks will be playing on back to back nights and the Toronto Maple Leafs will be playing their third game in four nights on Tuesday. There are a few games that offer high scoring upside(DAL vs. BUF, STL vs. CBJ, COL vs. TOR) and we should be targeting multiple players from these games. Lets take a closer look at a few core plays for Tuesday night.
Cory Schneider - Goaltender, Devils (DraftKings - $7,100 FanDuel - $9,200)
He has won three of his last four starts and hasn't allowed more than two goals in a game in seven straight contests. He is 9-4-1 with a .928 save % on the season and enters a nice matchup on the road in Calgary on Tuesday. The Devils are 5-2 on the road while the Flames are just 3-5 at Home. Look for a low scoring game with the Devils coming out on top.
Patrice Bergeron - Center, Bruins (DraftKings - $6,300 FanDuel - $7,000)
He has picked up points in five of his last six games with 29 shots in that time. He has been a very consistent fantasy option this season averaging over 4.2 points per game on both sites.
Alex Steen - Winger, Blues (DraftKings - $6,600 FanDuel - $8,200)
He is a better value on DraftKings but can be used on either site Tuesday night. He has 15 points so far in 15 games with a +4 rating and 62 shots on goal. His floor is very attractive and carries multi point upside into a matchup with the Blue Jackets who are ranked 29th in goals allowed per game.
Nathan MacKinnon - Winger, Avalanche (DraftKings - $7,500 FanDuel - $7,700)
Always a profitable play targeting players against the Leafs. They are ranked 21st in goals allowed per game and just don't have the defense to stop high powered offenses. The Avalanche are on a three game win streak and have started to look like an elite offense. Mackinnon has been a huge part of the offense with 19 points, a +9 rating, and 61 shots on goal. Look for another big night in Toronto on Tuesday.
Roman Josi - Defense, Predators (DraftKings - $6,400 FanDuel - $6,500)
Always a top defense choice as he has one of the highest floors on any given night. Makes a bit better play on DraftKings where his 2.9 blocks per game add to a nice offensive game he provides. He will be facing a Ducks team who are playing in back to back games on the road and should have multiple opportunities to score fantasy points on Tuesday.
