Cheat Sheet Enhancements for 10/22: Two new advanced stats added!
- "Shots attempted per 60 minutes" reflects a players shots on net + shots that missed net + shots that were blocked. It's a key stat to show how much a player possesses the puck generally, and is a predictive indicator for the number of shots a player will get on net.
- "Points per 60 minutes" reflects a players point production per 60 minutes of ice time. This is a great indicator of how productive a player is in their ice time. If a player has a high Points/60, and they get moved up to a top line, they'll represent a key sleeper play in the we

NHL DFS Picks for for Friday, November 6th
We have a smaller slate tonight in the NHL with only six games. It is still big enough where we can dig and find some early season value allowing us to spend up and get some studs in our lineups, and there are a bunch top goaltenders in good matchups tonight. To get access to multiple goaltender and player picks with advanced stats be sure to check out the cheatsheet that is available. The Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets are the only teams playing in back to back games tonight.
Henrik Lundqvist - Goaltender, Rangers (DraftKings - $8,000 FanDuel - $9,900)
Has a top 10 offense in front of him which is dangerous considering he has a .943 save percentage to start the year. He also carries a high floor as the Rangers are giving up over 30 shots a game when he is between the pipes. He gets a matchup on Friday vs. the Avs who are ranked 17th in league scoring.
Dylan Larkin - Center, Red Wings (DraftKings - $4,300 FanDuel - $4,100)
Very cheap around the industry and playing top line with Henrik Zetterberg and producing for the Detroit. Makes a great stacking option Friday that will will at a much lower cost than Tyler Seguin/Jamie Benn.
Jamie Benn - Winger, Stars (DraftKings - $8,000 FanDuel - $7,900)
Tied for the NHL lead in points with his line mate Tyler Seguin. He gets over 20:00 in ice time per game with over 3:00 of that on the powerplay. The ceiling is really high on the leagues 3rd ranked offense in a matchup vs. the Hurricanes.
Nail Yakupov - Winger, Oilers (DraftKings - $4,300 FanDuel - $4,100)
At first glance you would think he would be a GPP play only with his inconsistency. When you look closer and see the high amount of shot attempts per 60 and shots on goal he provides a nice floor on the days when he isn't scoring. His price is low and should be used heavily in a smaller slate of games on Friday.
John Klingberg - Defense, Stars (DraftKings - $5,200 FanDuel - $5,800)
He is tied with P.K. Subban and Andrei Markov for the NHL lead in points by a defenseman while playing two less games. The Stars are on fire leading the Western Conference and have a top 3 powerplay where Klingberg sees 3:27 per game.
