Patrice Bergeron (C, BOS)
DraftKings - $6,700, FanDuel - $7,000
On a night with so many elite options, you can expect Bergeron to come with very low ownership across the board tonight. Considering his less than inspiring first half he makes a nice tournament play with big upside. He went into the break with points in two straight and recorded 17 shots over his previous three games.
Nikolaj Ehlers (W, WPG)
DraftKings - $5,700, FanDuel - $6,700
He comes at a bit better value on DraftKings but is safe in all formats on both sites tonight. He has been terrific on the opposing wing to Laine and has recorded 44 points in 52 games this season. He has also been firing the puck more lately averaging over a half shot more per game over the last few weeks.
Drew Doughty (D, LAK)
DraftKings - $5,200, FanDuel - $6,400
He is coming off his second All-Star experience, this time at home in LA, and gets an elite matchup right out of the gate in the second half. The Kings are on the road but get to face the 27th ranked defense in the Arizona Coyotes. Doughty plays huge minutes at even strength on the powerplay and provides fantasy value across the board with offensive upside and a high floor with shots and blocks.
Stacking Option
Carolina Hurricanes - Jeff Skinner, Victor Rask, Derek Ryan
The Hurricanes offense has been inconsistent all season but has big upside, especially tonight in a matchup vs. a struggling Flyers defense. They are also very affordable with the combination of the three costing right around 30% of your salary cap on both sites.

Bonus: General NHL DFS Strategy Notes
For cash games, look at players who can contribute to your score even when they are not providing offense. Some examples are guys who take a ton of shots and defensemen who block a lot of shots. Also, look for guys who get power play time. You can find value in players who join a new line due to an injury, or just get a promotion and more ice time. It is also recommended to spread out your exposure to three or four different lines, and not put all your eggs in one basket.
For large field tournaments (GPPs), find payers who have multi-point upside and can grab double-digit fantasy points. If you want to stack the most upside in your forwards, a common strategy is to punt the defense position. This doesn't mean just grab anyone - try and look for a defenseman who will get power play time, or a playing time boost due to an injury. For a contrarian approach, paying up at the defense position can be a great strategy - but it also comes with more risk. GPPs bring a great opportunity for goaltenders in the value price range - you can look for backups on good teams.
