We will also provide you with one of our favorite teams to stack for GPPs. You can grab the rest of our Premium DFS lineup picks and stacks through the NHL Cheat Sheet and DFS Premium Pass below.
Nazem Kadri (C, TOR)
DraftKings - $5,700, FanDuel - $6,800, FantasyAces - $5,250
With his elite shot volume, Kadri has been a top value for cash games all season. He has been rewarded with that shot volume lately with seven goals in his last 10 games. Combine that with a nice home matchup vs. the Sabres and you have a great play in all formats.
Mikael Granlund (W, MIN)
DraftKings - $5,400, FanDuel - $6,500, FantasyAces - $5,100
Even though the Wild are playing a third game in four nights, they are at home and playing a weaker Devils team that ranks 19th in defense and struggle on the road(8-12-6). Granlund has been red hot lately with three goals and 13 points over his last 10 games and has also been providing a high floor with 32 shots on goal in 18 minutes of ice time.
Seth Jones (D, CBJ)
DraftKings - $4,800, FanDuel - $5,300, FantasyAces - $5,200
Seth Jones has been providing elite value for his current price on DraftKings and FanDuel with a balanced game of scoring, shot blocking and shot volume. He has recorded seven points(three on the powerplay) with 22 shots and 20 blocks in just over 23 minute of ice time. He is safe in all formats.
Stacking Option
Chicago Blackhawks - Patrick Kane, ArtemAnisimov, Artemi Panarin
The Blackhawks are coming off a loss but the top line, especially Patrick Kane, stayed red hot with two goals on 12 shots and has tallied 13 total points over his last 10 games. The upside will be hard to avoid tonight in a matchup vs. the league's worst defensive team. The Avs are giving up 3.32 goals per game and have actually been much worse at home this season with a 5-15-1 record. At the time of writing this, there is o goal team projection released but I would suspect it would be in the 3+ range.

Bonus: General NHL DFS Strategy Notes
For cash games, look at players who can contribute to your score even when they are not providing offense. Some examples are guys who take a ton of shots and defensemen who block a lot of shots. Also, look for guys who get power play time. You can find value in players who join a new line due to an injury, or just get a promotion and more ice time. It is also recommended to spread out your exposure to three or four different lines, and not put all your eggs in one basket.
For large field tournaments (GPPs), find payers who have multi-point upside and can grab double-digit fantasy points. If you want to stack the most upside in your forwards, a common strategy is to punt the defense position. This doesn't mean just grab anyone - try and look for a defenseman who will get power play time, or a playing time boost due to an injury. For a contrarian approach, paying up at the defense position can be a great strategy - but it also comes with more risk. GPPs bring a great opportunity for goaltenders in the value price range - you can look for backups on good teams.
