Auston Matthews (C, TOR)
DraftKings - $6,800, FanDuel - $6,000, FantasyAces - $5,600
You are going to want to get as much exposure to this game as possible as both teams have Top 10 offenses vs. weaker defenses. Both teams are also taking over 30 shots per 60 minutes while giving up over 30 shots per 60 minutes to their opponents. From the Leafs side you can rely on their rookie center in any format. He broke out of his 13 game goalless drought scoring two against the Devils and followed it up with another against the Capitals in a huge 4-2 win on Saturday. He also has provided a high floor lately averaging over three shots on goal per game.
David Pastrnak (W, BOS)
DraftKings - $6,800, FanDuel - $6,200, FantasyAces - $5,700
He has been outstanding on a struggling offensive team(23rd) averaging a point per game through a quarter of the season. Now that he is back on the wing with Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron he is a safe play in any format, especially tonight where he gets a boost against the leagues worst defensive team.
Roman Josi (D, NSH)
DraftKings - $6,500, FanDuel - $6,400, FantasyAces - $5,350
The Predators make a great target tonight as they take their ninth ranked offense on the road to face the Avs and their 21st ranked defense. Nashville also has a big special teams advantage with a third ranked powerplay facing a 27th ranked penalty kill. A great place to target is on the point and with Josi price right there with Subban on all sites I prefer Josi. He has been the more consistent of the two lately with six points in his last 10 games with 30 shots on goal and 14 blocks.
Stacking Option
Edmonton Oilers - Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Jordan Eberle, Milan Lucic
All hands on deck Tuesday night as the Oilers and their eighth ranked offense will be home to the Leafs and their 28th ranked defense. The Oilers have been streaky lately losing back to back games to the Coyotes scoring just three goals but have shown huge upside. In the three games prior to the Coyotes series they had won three straight games scoring 16 goals. Stacking the top powerplay unit gives you exposure to each of the top two lines.

Bonus: General NHL DFS Strategy Notes
For cash games, look at players who can contribute to your score even when they are not providing offense. Some examples are guys who take a ton of shots and defensemen who block a lot of shots. Also, look for guys who get power play time. You can find value in players who join a new line due to an injury, or just get a promotion and more ice time. It is also recommended to spread out your exposure to three or four different lines, and not put all your eggs in one basket.
For large field tournaments (GPPs), find payers who have multi-point upside and can grab double-digit fantasy points. If you want to stack the most upside in your forwards, a common strategy is to punt the defense position. This doesn't mean just grab anyone - try and look for a defenseman who will get power play time, or a playing time boost due to an injury. For a contrarian approach, paying up at the defense position can be a great strategy - but it also comes with more risk. GPPs bring a great opportunity for goaltenders in the value price range - you can look for backups on good teams.
