NHL Daily League Lineup Picks for Sunday, November 6
Travis Zajac (C, NJ)
DraftKings - $4,200, FanDuel - $4,300, FantasyAces - $4,600
If you are stacking any top players with a high end goalie today you are going to need a few value options in your lineup. On a larger slate it would be hard to trust Zajac in cash games as he doesn't provide a ton of shots. At a low $4K price tag I think he is a viable option in any format today on a smaller six game slate. He has picked up points in two straight and has seven points in 10 games this season.
Artemi Panarin (W, CHI)
DraftKings - $6,900, FanDuel - $7,000, FantasyAces - $5,350
On a small slate the one team you are going to want a piece of is the Blackhawks. They are red hot, winning five straight and rank 2nd in offense and 10th overall on the powerplay. Panarin provides excellent value from a PTS/$ perspective as he comes at a discount from MVP Patrick Kane and has provided similar results. While Panarin plays on the second line he does gets top powerplay minutes with Kane
Cam Fowler (D, ANH)
DraftKings - $5,200, FanDuel - $4,400, FantasyAces - $5,100
Although Fowler makes a nice play on all sites today, he is an elite play on FanDuel at a mid $4K price tag. He has provided a very high floor this week with seven shots and seven blocks over the last three games despite only recording one point. He gets a great matchup offensively today vs. the Flames who have allowed the third most goals per game(3.54) this season.
Stacking Option
Anaheim Ducks - Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry
Word is that Getzlaf will make his return to the Ducks lineup today after practicing in full on Saturday afternoon. Due to the late week news the Ducks top stack could come in under owned making them a nice GPP option. There has been no morning skates but I suggest starting the stack with Getlaf and Perry and check the late news to see who is on their line.

Bonus: General NHL DFS Strategy Notes
For cash games, look at players who can contribute to your score even when they are not providing offense. Some examples are guys who take a ton of shots and defensemen who block a lot of shots. Also, look for guys who get power play time. You can find value in players who join a new line due to an injury, or just get a promotion and more ice time. It is also recommended to spread out your exposure to three or four different lines, and not put all your eggs in one basket.
For large field tournaments (GPPs), find payers who have multi-point upside and can grab double-digit fantasy points. If you want to stack the most upside in your forwards, a common strategy is to punt the defense position. This doesn't mean just grab anyone - try and look for a defenseman who will get power play time, or a playing time boost due to an injury. For a contrarian approach, paying up at the defense position can be a great strategy - but it also comes with more risk. GPPs bring a great opportunity for goaltenders in the value price range - you can look for backups on good teams.
