Wells Fargo Championship - PGA DFS Overview
The PGA Tour heads to Charlotte, N.C., for the Wells Fargo Championship. Quail Hollow Club will be playing host to the event.
The course is a par 71 that plays to around 7,500 yards. There are four par-3's, 10 par-4's, and four par-5's. The par-5's have the four highest birdie percentage.
The greens are Bermuda and very quick. They are average in size.
*Note; this championship was played at Eagle Point in 2017 due to Quail Hollow hosting the PGA Championship that year.*

Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)
High-Priced DFS Players
There are six players this week priced above $10,000;
Rory McIlroy ($11,800) - This will be McIlroy's first outing since a T-21 at the Masters. He won here in 2015 and has the second most strokes gained the last five years. He's number one in my custom rankings and he should be in your lineup.
Jason Day ($11,000) - The defending champion comes off a T-5 at Augusta. Day is quietly having a resurgent year behind four top-10's in his last six tournaments. He has a complete game and his putting is his strongest part.
Rickie Fowler ($10,600) - Fowler has been tough to predict this season just like at this event the last five years. In 2014 he was T-38, in '16 T-4 and last year T-21. Fowler's struggles splitting the fairway this season will not make it easy for him at this course.
Justin Rose ($10,300) - Rosey's stats aren't good, but he sure plays well here with a fifth in 2014 and third in 2016.
Hideki Matsuyama ($10,100) - I don't see his game translating because his putting is abysmal.
Middle-Priced DFS Players
Paul Casey ($9,500) - The Englishman has had such a good year except for the big tournaments. He was cut at THE PLAYERS and the Masters. Good news for him because the Wells Fargo is a good tournament, but not an overly popular one. He finished T-12 two years ago and T-5 last year. His stats are ripe for this course, but his putting scares me. I think he'll overcome that this week though.
Jason Kokrak ($8,700) - Kokrak has struggled mightily at this event with three missed cuts the last five years. His stats are solid throughout and I love that he's been making birdies this year.
Sungjae Im ($8,600) - The rookie is really making his presence known on tour this year behind five top-10's. Even though this will be his first time taking on Quail Hollow, he checks all the boxes for this course though.
Jhonattan Vegas ($8,200) - This guy can bomb the ball, but he needs to keep it in the fairway. He's made three consecutive cuts here with his best finish being T-42.
Michael Thompson ($7,400) - Thompson has had an up-and-down season but recently is off a T-10 at the RBC Heritage. His game sets up well for this course. He's made three of his last five cuts at the Wells Fargo.
Low-Priced DFS Players
Brian Harman ($6,800) - Harman won this in 2017 when it was at Eagle Point. Of course, that's not nearly the same course. I like that he doesn't back down from anyone. He's going to be extremely low-owned as he's missed three consecutive cuts.
Robert Streb ($6,800) - Stats are awful but I like that he's made five consecutive cuts at this event.
Vaughn Taylor ($6,600) - Three straight made cuts at the Wells Fargo. Good stats. Solid player for this price.
