DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks for Week 6
Andrew Luck (QB, IND) vs NE, $7,600
It seems as if DraftKings puts a considerable amount of opinion into their price making process, as Andrew Luck and Andy Dalton should probably be switched based on their recent performance. Regardless of his high price tag, Luck makes for a fantastic tournament play this week against the New England Patriots. Last week, Brandon Weeden did not fair well against the terrible Patriots' pass defense, but Luck is a lot more talented and should be able to thrive. He practiced fully on Monday, which is a good sign that he will be playing this week. He should be a lot closer to 100 percent after a few weeks off, and the Colts are going to have to let him open up if they are going to keep pace with Tom Brady and the Patriots.
Andy Dalton (QB, CIN) at BUF, $5,700
Andy Dalton should seem like an obvious play this week against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are still struggling against the pass attack so far this season, allowing 274 yards per game. Dalton has been spectacular this season, and he is consistent enough to use him in cash games. With a 115.6 QB rating, 1,518 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and only two interceptions, Dalton is statistically one of the best quarterbacks in the league right now. He is averaging over 25 fantasy points per game, and as long as A.J. Green is healthy, he should continue to excel.
DraftKings DFS Running Backs for Week 6
Arian Foster (RB, HOU) at JAX, $7,000
This is the week to play Arian Foster. He looked terrible on the ground last week, but saved fantasy owners with 9 receptions for 77 yards through the air. This week, he gets to go to town against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are currently allowing 103 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs. Granted, Foster has been less than impressive in his only two games so far this season, but last week, he touched the ball quite a bit. With 19 carries and 9 receptions, it should be clear that Foster is ready to take over almost all of the snaps at the RB position. He is healthy enough to play the entire game, and the Texans will be looking to feed him the ball, wind out the clock, and pick up a second win this season.
Charcandrick West (RB, KC) at MIN, $4,000
The Kansas City Chiefs' RB situation is going to be interesting with Jamaal Charles out for the season with a torn ACL. After the injury last week, both Charcandrick West and Knile Davis played in Charles' place, but it was West that took a majority of the carries. He ran for 31 yards on 7 carries, while Davis only touched the ball twice for 2 yards. Andy Reid stated that the workload will be split between the two RBs, but he is most likely going to lean harder on West. West is averaging four yards per carry so far this season, and he should easily return value with a $4,000 price tag.
DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers for Week 6
Odell Beckham Jr. (WR, NYG) at PHI, $8,900
Do not get too cute this week. Odell Beckham is the top wide receiver option on the board against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Oh, calm down. Julio Jones is not playing on Sunday. He plays against the Saints on Thursday, and if you are playing in a league that includes that game, he is the best WR option on the board. However, last week, Beckham caught seven balls for over 120 yards and a touchdown. He did injure his hamstring, but he will likely be fine to play on Sunday. This is going to be a very important game for the Giants, who are currently the division leader in the NFC East. The Eagles have no one that can cover Beckham, and as long as Tom Coughlin realizes that the ball does not have to be spread around to win games, Beckham is going to have a huge week.
Eric Decker (WR, NYJ) vs WAS, $4,900
Remember when I said that DraftKings puts too much personal opinion into their pricing system? Well, Eric Decker is a perfect example of this. He is not a flashy player, and he often goes overlooked by fantasy owners. This week, he gets a good matchup against the Washington Redskins' secondary, and he should be in for a great week. He has scored a touchdown in every game he has played in so far this season, and he is returning value and then some on a consistent basis. It is unlikely that he is going to have 10 receptions for over 100 yards and two touchdowns, or break a 90-yard touchdown on a screen pass, but Decker is a very consistent and solid possession receiver. He is targeted in the red zone, and he should be able to easily return value on his sub-$5,000 price tag.
DraftKings DFS Tight Ends for Week 6
Rob Gronkowski (TE, NE) at IND, $7,600
Rob Gronkowski has 20 receptions for 375 yards and four touchdowns so far this season. Do I really need to say anything else? Sure, last week he failed to go over 100 yards or find the end zone. In fact, he only had four receptions. However, he was only targeted by Tom Brady five times. This rarely happens, and "The Gronk" should be targeted much more heavily this week against the Indianapolis Colts. He is easily the best TE option on the board, regardless of his high price tag.
Tyler Eifert (TE, CIN) at BUF, $4,900
Tyler Eifert is a great boom or bust type play this week against the Buffalo Bills. If you are going to play Andy Dalton at the QB position (obviously, A.J. Green is the top WR option to pair with him), Eifert makes for an interesting combination with Dalton at the helm. He currently has 24 receptions for 312 yards and five touchdowns this season. Last week against the Seattle Seahawks, he showed just how high his upside really is with eight receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Scoring 29 fantasy points for a price tag under $5,000? Sounds good to me.
